Our School Day begins at 8.45am and we ask that children are in school ready to begin lessons at this time. For children to get the most from their education it is vital that they have good attendance and are in school on time each day. Studies have shown that pupils with good attendance are more likely to perform well academically. Regular absence or lateness can seriously disrupt children’s learning and lead to gaps in their understanding.
It is very important therefore that you make sure your child attends regularly. If you feel you may need some support with this, please come and see us in school.
If children are ill or unable to be in school for any reason, we ask parents/carers to contact the office as soon as possible to inform us. We will follow up any unexplained absences.
